報告摘要：In this talk, we investigate the well-posedness of the 3d co-rotational Beris-Edwards system for incompressible nematic liquid crystal flows with the Landau-De Gennes bulk potential. The system under consideration consists of the Navier--Stokes equations for the fluid velocity coupled with an evolution equations for the Q-tensor order parameter. We prove the existence of solutions to the Cauchy problem of the system with initial data having small -norm. Moreover, the uniqueness of -solutions is obtained.

【報告人簡介】
劉橋，湖南師範大學副教授，碩士生導師。博士畢業于中山大學，在北京應用物理與計算數學研究所博士後流動站進站，合作導師江松院士，并先後在浙江大學、香港城市大學、美國Purdue大學做訪問學者。主要研究源于向列型液晶材料的數學模型，如Ericksen-Leslie方程組、Beris-Edwards方程組及相關流體動力方程組等的數學問題，在适定性、解的正則性與長時間性态和解的奇性分析等方面得到了一系列的研究成果，已在《J. Functional Analysis》、《Calc. Var. Partial Differential Equations》、《J. Differential Equations》、《Nonlinearity》等SCI類學術期刊上接收或發表論文60多篇。主持國家自然科學基金面上項目1項，主持國家自然科學基金青年基金1項，主持國家自然科學基金數學天元基金項目1項。
