報告題目：Spreading profile of a diffusive competition model with free boundaries
報告摘要：In this talk I will discuss some recent results on a two species diffusive competition model with free boundaries, which are concerned with the complete classification of the spreading profiles of the two species in the weak-strong competition case. I will explain how to reach the conclusion that there are exactly five different types of long-time dynamical behavior for this system. The talk is based on theoretical work with Chang-Hong Wu, and numerical work with K. Khan, Shuang Liu and T. Schaerf.

【報告人簡介】
Professor Yihong Du obtained his PhD from Shandong University in 1988. He moved to the University of New England (UNE) in Australia in 1991, after visiting Heriot-Watt University in the UK for a year and being a lecturer at Shandong University for 2 years. He was promoted to a full professor at UNE in 2008. He has made valuable contributions to the theory of nonlinear elliptic and parabolic partial differential equations and their application in chemical reaction theory and population dynamics. He was a Web of Science highly cited researcher in 2018, 2019 and 2020, and elected to a Fellow of the Australian Academy of Science in 2021.
