應學院邀請,美國威斯康星大學白水分校陳學慶教授将講授系列短課程。 

報告題目:Representation Theory of Quivers

報告摘要:The main objective of representation theory is the study of algebras via the study of their modules (or representations). We will use quivers (oriented graphs) and their representations (given by vector spaces associated to vertices and linear maps associated to arrows) to approach representation theory. This approach can be used to study the representation theory of all finite dimensional algebras (as quotients of path algebras of quivers). By now, some remarkable connections to other algebraic topics have been discovered, such as to Lie algebras, Hall algebras and quantum groups and more recently to cluster algebras.

報告人簡介

 陳學慶,美國威斯康星大學白水分校教授。研究領域為有限維代數(箭圖)的表示、Hall代數與量子群、Cluster代數與量子Cluster代數。2002年博士畢業于加拿大卡爾頓大學,先後在加拿大渥太華大學及加拿大溫莎大學從事科研工作。在包括Compositio Math., Contem. Math., J. Algebra等期刊上發表過高水平論文30餘篇。兼任多個頂尖數學雜志審稿人。
