報告題目：A classification of irreducible discrete representations of infinite linear groups

報告摘要：A classfication of irreducible representations of finite general linear groups over a finite field has been obtained by Green and Zelevinsky. In this talk we describe an approach to classify irreducible discrete representations of infinite linear groups, which is based on Artin's theorem connecting discrete representations of topological groups and sheaves of modules over atomic sites as well as some recent development in representation stability theory.

報告人簡介

 李利平，湖南師範大學77779193永利特聘教授、院長，湖南省政協委員。本科畢業于清華大學，博士畢業于美國明尼蘇達大學。主要研究範疇的表示理論與表示穩定性理論，在一般線性群的同餘群的同調群的穩定界限、範疇的局部諾特性、無限組合範疇的表示與同調性質研究等課題上取得了具有國際影響力的成果，在Adv. Math., Trans. Amer. Math. Soc., Selecta Math., J. Lond. Math. Soc.等重要期刊發表論文30餘篇，并主持多項國家及省部級基金項目。
