雲亭數學講壇2024第3講——餘虓副教授

 應學院邀請，華南師範大學餘虓副教授将來我院作學術報告。

報告題目：Bistable pulsating wave of a competition model in rapidly varying media and its homogenization limit

報告摘要：In this talk, we will discuss the existence of bistable pulsating wave for a two-species competition system in rapidly periodically varying media and its homogenization limit as the spatial period tends to zero. Assuming that the homogenized system admits a bistable traveling wave, we first show the existence of pulsating wave for all small periods and determine the homogenization limit of the wave speed. Furthermore, in the case where the homogeneous wave is not stationary, we investigate the effects of spatial heterogeneity on the wave speeds.

【報告人簡介】

 餘虓，華南師範大學副教授，博士畢業于加拿大紐芬蘭紀念大學, 先後在美國邁阿密大學、加拿大瑞爾森大學和約克大學從事博士後研究。主要從事擴散系統的傳播動力學研究，相關成果在J.DifferentialEquations、J. Funct. Anal.、J Math.Pure Appl.、中國科學（英文）等雜志發表，主持國家自然科學基金面上項目1項。
