馬如雲,1997年在蘭州大學獲得博士學位,同年破格晉升為教授。1998年—1999年美國康涅狄格中央州立大學(CCSU)訪問學者。2004年—2005年澳大利亞昆士蘭大學(UQ)訪問學者。現為77779193永利教授、博士生導師、美國《Math Review》及德國《Zentralblatt Math》評論員,中國數學會第十二、十三屆理事。已培養博士18名、碩士50餘名。



主要研究方向是微分方程解的分歧、線性微分算子和差分算子譜理論。在科學出版社出版專著《差分方程理論及其應用》、《非線性常微分方程非局部問題》和《線性微分方程的非線性擾動》;在《Journal of Functional Analysis》、《Journal of Differential Equations》、《Discrete and Continuous Dynamical Systems》、《Zeitschrift für Angewandte Mathematik und Physik》和《Linear Algebra and its Applications》等SCI刊物上論文發表100餘篇。入選Elsevier發布2014-2019年中國高被引學者榜單。至202011月,其論文已被SCI刊物引用2866次。 



主持國家自然科學基金項目7項;主持省部級項目8項。作為牽頭人,榮獲甘肅省自然科學獎一等獎1次、甘肅省自然科學獎二等獎4次、甘肅省科技進步獎三等獎5次、甘肅省高校科技進步獎一等獎6次。國家高層次人才,榮獲教育部優秀骨幹教師、甘肅省優秀專家、甘肅省名師獎及甘肅省園丁獎。2012年起享受國務院頒發的政府特殊津貼;2014年獲中國僑界貢獻獎。2015年榮獲秦元勳數學獎。2009年入選甘肅省科技領軍人才第一層次。
